The Blackacre Foundation

Public Access to Blackacre

The Blackacre Foundation has a staff of dedicated and trained volunteers to host public visits to Blackacre State Nature Preserve on Sunday afternoons from 1-5 p.m. during the spring season of April, May and June, and again in the fall season of September, October and November.

Visitors may explore, take nature walks, and visit the Presley Tyler Visitor's Center. The Center features a photo exhibit, maintained by the Blackacre Foundation, spanning more than one hundred years of life at the settlement and contains brochures, maps, and an inventory of the abundant plants and animals.
